French Cabaret by Emile Minnie
Time: 12:30 - 15:30
Date: Sunday 22 April
Emile Minnie is an extra-ordinary composer, singer and human being. His voice is sultry. His piano playing is phenomenal. He is one of the most popular cabaret singers and Laurika Rauch describes him as one of SA’s best songwriters. She has recorded three of Emile’s songs, and reviewers and the public agree that Emile’s songs are absolute highlights.
Emile’s latest offering is a romantic French show, breathing new life into old favourites like “La vie en rose” and “Je ne regrette rien”. Come and experience the charm of the French chanson, presented with Emile’s typical energy and style. For this performance Emile will combine romantic French love songs with jazz standards, Golden Oldies, and even a dash of rock and roll.
We start with a delicious lunch served before his performance.
